How to care for your hair the natural way?

Hair has been the trademark of women since time immemorial. Our great-grandmothers did not have drugstore cosmetics at their disposal. Still, they often had long and shiny hair. How to Take Care of Your Hair at Home

Eggs, yeast and vinegar. These are food products that we usually have in our refrigerators and pantries. Not only their consumption contributes to the health and beautiful appearance of hair. A much more effective method is their external use in the form of masks, conditioners and rinses for a few zlotys – they will make your hair in excellent condition.

Eggs for Hair

Hen eggs are extremely healthy. They contain lots of vitamins and minerals, which improve the condition of your hair and scalp. Egg yolk helps to fight dandruff as it contains a lot of sulphur, which alleviates dandruff. Egg whites strengthen hair, making it less prone to breakage, and help thicken hair for added volume. Hen eggs also contain lecithin and protein. These ingredients make the hair strong and moisturized. Regular use of egg masks on your hair and/or adding egg to your shampoo is a great alternative to expensive hair care products.

  • Egg and olive oil mask – a mask that will make your hair grow faster and be moisturized, strong and shiny is a combination of eggs and olive oil. To prepare it you will need 2 whole chicken eggs and 2 tablespoons of olive oil. Mix the ingredients until combined and apply to the hair for 10-15 minutes. Rinse the mixture out and wash your hair. The lazy version is to use ready-made mayonnaise from a jar.
  • Regeneration of very damaged hair – another recipe is a real turmeric mask for damaged and dry hair. To prepare it you need: a chicken egg, a tablespoon of olive oil, a tablespoon of honey, half an avocado, 2 tablespoons of natural yogurt. Blend all the ingredients or crush them with a fork into a smooth paste. Apply the mixture from roots to ends and leave it on your hair for 30-40 minutes. Rinse and shampoo your hair.
  • Egg white mask for oily scalp will be effective in reducing sebum secretion if used regularly (every 3-4 days). To prepare it, you need egg white and lemon juice. Whip the egg white into a stiff foam and at the end add the juice of one small lemon. Apply the mask to damp hair, especially the scalp. Rinse it off after about 20 minutes.

Yeast for Hair

Another home remedy for beautiful hair is to include yeast in their daily care. Yeast is rich in vitamin H, biotin, pantothenic acid and many other ingredients that make hair strong, healthy and shiny. Yeast also has a great effect on the scalp – it reduces inflammation and accelerates wound healing.

  • Yeast for hair strengthening – to prepare a hair strengthening mask you need only 2 ingredients: a cube of baker’s yeast and 4 tablespoons of milk. Place the ingredients in a pot and heat, stirring until a smooth paste is formed. Rub the paste over your scalp and hair and leave it on your hair for as long as you have time. At least 30 minutes. After 30 minutes the paste is rinsed out and the hair is washed.

Vinegar for hair

Apple cider vinegar is one of the oldest hair care methods. Simply rinse your hair with cool water and 2 tablespoons of apple cider vinegar after each wash for shiny strands. You can also use vinegar as a dandruff treatment. Just mix vinegar with water in a ratio of 1:4 and gently massage it on your scalp.
